Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what rights you have under the GDPR. It applies to this website and to the association's day-to-day activities.

1. Who is the controller of your data

The controller is Spolek pro obnovu varhan v Načeradci, a registered association (zapsaný spolek) established under Czech law, IČO 04849761, with its registered office at Vitice 28, 281 06 Vitice, Czechia. You can reach us by email at info@NewYorkTaxConsultation.com or by telephone on +420 321 621 837.

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and applicable Czech legislation.

2. What personal data we collect

  • Contact data you send us. If you write to us, call us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, telephone number if you provide it, and the content of your message.
  • Membership and donation records. If you become a member or make a donation, we hold the details required by Czech accounting and association law, such as name, address and payment reference.
  • Event participation. If you register for a workshop or guided tour, we hold your name and contact details for that event.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time of request, browser type) for security and reliability.

3. The contact form

The contact form on this website does not store your message in a database. It opens your own email application with the message prepared, so the message is delivered to our official email inbox in the same way as any other email you send. We keep such correspondence only for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry.

4. Why we process data and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To administer membership, donations and events — performance of a contract or of the association's statutes (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To meet accounting, tax and grant-reporting duties — compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To send occasional news about concerts and projects — only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

5. No sale, no monetisation, no profiling

We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not share it with commercial third parties for their own purposes.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics profiles. Only technically necessary requests are made to serve the pages. The map on our contact page is embedded from OpenStreetMap; when it loads, your browser contacts that service, which may log the request under its own privacy terms.

7. Who may receive your data

Access is limited to members of the association who need it for the purpose described above. Data may also be processed by our email and website hosting providers acting as processors under written agreements, or disclosed to public authorities, auditors or grant providers where the law or a grant contract requires it. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area unless an adequate level of protection is guaranteed.

8. How long we keep data

  • General correspondence: normally up to 12 months after the matter is closed.
  • Membership records: for the duration of membership and 3 years afterwards.
  • Accounting and donation documents: for the retention periods required by Czech accounting and tax law (generally 5 to 10 years).
  • Consent-based mailing list: until you withdraw your consent.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access to your personal data, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@NewYorkTaxConsultation.com. We respond within one month. If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7).

10. Security

We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, including restricted access, password-protected accounts and encrypted transmission of this website over HTTPS.

11. Children

Our educational programmes involve children, but we collect their data only through the school or with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and only for the organisation of the specific activity.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will publish the updated policy on this page together with a new effective date. Material changes affecting members or donors will also be communicated directly.
